Even before Dr. Danny Crosby felt the call of God to vocational ministry at age 16, he was traveling and singing in churches with his brothers. He has pastored churches in Texas for almost 50 years. He retired from First Baptist Church in Cleburne, Texas, in 2021 after pastoring there for 24 years.

After graduating from Baylor University, he and his wife served as missionaries in Monterrey, Mexico before returning to Texas to go to Southwestern Seminary where he received his Master’s of Divinity and his PhD in Theology.

Danny and Diane have been married for 46 years and have two children, Andrew and Dani Beth. Andrew works at a nonprofit in Dallas, ministering to those in need. Andrew and his wife Allye have their 4 beautiful grandchildren - Ruby Love, Lucy Joy, Silas Brave & Evie Grace. Dani Beth serves as the Family and Communications Minister at University Avenue Baptist Church in Honolulu, Hawaii. In retirement, Danny has enjoyed supply and interim preaching and playing the bass guitar at churches. He also has fun traveling, riding his motorcycle, and working on Diane’s to do list.
