Statement of Faith

We believe fully that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is the written record of God’s revelation of Himself to man.

We believe the teachings of the Bible are relevant to today’s society and to traditional family values.

We believe salvation is a gift of God through faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

Statement of Purpose

Zephyr Baptist Encampment, Inc. is a facility that exists for the purpose of providing a place where the associations, churches, and agencies of the Southern Baptist Convention can empower kingdom growth by doing evangelism and discipleship in the name of Jesus Christ.

The goal of Zephyr Baptist Encampment is to provide an environment in its facilities and activities that encourages development in spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical areas.

Zephyr Baptist Encampment does permit other Christian denominational groups, and non-profit groups whose purpose and objectives are compatible with those of Zephyr Baptist Encampment to use the facilities as space is available.

In keeping with the purpose of Zephyr Baptist Encampment, the administration has the authority to schedule or refuse use of the facilities.

Statement of Service

With a Christ-like mentality, the Zephyr staff will strive to treat all guests with a servant’s heart and with the deepest admiration at all times.  During your stay at Zephyr, we as a staff will do our best to provide well maintained facilities, quality meals, friendly atmosphere, and attention to detail which will allow all of our guests to have a superior camp experience.
